Mark V. Reyes is born and raised in Manila, Philippines and moved to San Francisco in 2000 to study film at the Academy of Art University. He emerged in the independent film scene with his first short film, Last Full Show (2005), Mark’s second film, God Only Knows (2008), was also screened at Tribeca, and won Best Short Film at the NY Asian American Film Festival, as well as the Audience Award at the Cinemalaya Film Festival. In 2010, Mark taught short filmmaking in the UK for York St. John University’s summer arts program Creative Chaos.
