Iconic actress Anna Karina (Jean-Luc Godard’s Pierrot le fou, Alphaville) steps behind the camera for the first time since 1973 for Victoria, the story of two dreaming singers accompanied on a tour of Quebec by a mysterious mute woman, Victoria (played by Karina). While Jimmy enjoys himself with assorted groupies, Stanislas finds himself drawn to Victoria’s odd behavior, and later falls in love with a hotel housekeeper that looks just like actress Anna Karina. It turns out that Stanislas and Victoria share a past that is revealed as they travel the road alongside the St. Lawrence River. Victoria is a road movie filled with revelations, set to music by Philippe Katerine.
