Paul, an eight year old boy, is mature and serious. One day, he asks for the most painful experience in his life, and his request is answered. After a series of surreal and tragic incidences, Paul realizes that his beloved mother has died. While trying to accept his mother’s death calmly, Paul reaches for his dead mother’s fingernails and holds them in his hands. It is still hard for Paul to accept the reality. (Hong Hyosook)
