The short film is neither a preparation stage for a feature film nor a mere exercise for the director. In order to draw the public’s attention to short films, in May of 2002, seven well recognized Japanese filmmakers produced and directed a work that consists of seven shorts. Thus Jam Films was created by these highly talented directors working at their highest capacity, and the result is more than just a short film compilation.
