On the outskirts of a small town, a bus driver and her passengers encounter highway robbers. The robbers take the female bus driver in an attempt to rape her, but the passengers don′t have the guts to intervene. Finally, a young man tries to stop them but ends up being stabbed. <b>Bus 44</b> explores a universal theme that crosses all boundaries and societies, transgressing into both the dark side and the bright side of human behavior.
