On a late night in Seoul, a staggering drunken man who appears to be a victim of the human rat race calls for a designated driver. A young female driver, whose face is worn out by the hardships of life, arrives and they start driving along the riverside expressway. By choosing an open and empty space like the riverside expressway, the director closely portrays a rather dull encounter and the communication between strangers who are struggling with their own life’s agonies.
