A woman walks up to a road filled with cars. She has puffed rice in her hands and leaves her baby sleeping in a carriage on the side of the road. While this woman sells the puffed rice, walking dangerously through the cars, a walnut cookie seller appears and their cold war begins. The plot starts with a small quibble and builds up tension with little happenings that coincide with the film’s theme of looking for the meaning of life through a small incident. (Hong Hyosook)
