Pam, an old maid living with her widowed mother, knows nothing about life outside the crummy motel they own. Trapped in perpetual adolescence she still doesn`t know what she wants. The only certainty is that nothing will ever change: Day after day, Pam cleans up the tawdry traces of loveless affairs, and sits for TV dinner with her mother. Then one day a man checks in by himself, and unleashes something in Pam. Is it her imagination or is he there to save her from her damp existence?
