This is a story about a woman living with her childish husband, or a story about a thoughtless husband becoming a new man. Either way it`s an interesting comedy by Ichii Masahide that recalls the work of Yamashita Nobuhiro. The husband collects wastepaper and the wife is a waitress in a Bulgogi restaurant. Living in a single room, their most urgent wish is for an air conditioner. The wife, however, is so disappointed with his irresponsible attitude that she quits her job and stops maintaining the household. He realizes his fault, though a little too late. Ichii Masahide does not intend to force artificial laughs, and tries to l a story everyone may have experienced - only a little more exaggeratedly. This is the extraordinary piece of comedy that exquisiy combines pathos and original laughs, for which the director Ichii Masahide is definiy noteworthy. (Kim Ji-seok)
