Program Note

A woman lives with her mother, who suffers dementia. It’s a difficult job, and one day after seeing a hurdle game on TV she takes her mother out jumping hurdles. (NAM Dong-chul)

BAK Sung-jin

He started writing scripts in hope of making a film out of the story that was in his head, while he worked on a film crew. His co-directed his first short film Kreutzer Sonata(2012). Hurdle is his second film.
