Program Note
In a small village, people can barely enjoy a soccer game because of the constant power failures. A woman returns after a study tour in the city and installs solar energy device. Her father looks at her with disapproval ? she hadn’t even shown up for her mother’s funeral because of work! The film quietly unfolds the meaning of family in this changing world without dramatic reconciliation. (CHO Young-jung)

Min DING
Born and raised in China, she immigrated to the United States with her family when she was seventeen. She received her degree in Graphic Design. Currently pursuing her Masters in Film Direction at Columbia University where she received the Columbia Women-in-Film Fellowship.
Her short films include Larry′s Lane(2009), Good Christian Wife(2011) and Three Light Bulbs(2012)
