Originally from Kosova, Antoneta Kastrati now resides in Los Angeles. In ten years of filmmaking, she has directed dozens of documentaries in Kosovo. Her recent transition to narrative filmmaking in America has given her a new medium to explore the experience of war. Her films include Unspoken(documentary, 2002), Whose Security?(documentary, 2006), Ninulla(short, 2011) and Empty Bucket(short, 2012)
