Two men are trying to make contact with another civilization. So they push a barrel laden with communication equipment to ever-higher ground in a vain attempt to get better reception, convinced that this is the reason for their failure. Traversing this bleak, desolate world makes their absurd hope for a better life seem even more out of reach.
