Good-bye Song opens with photographs. Children at a nursery school energetically shout out the name of things they like-from giraffes to dragonflies. Animated renditions of the children′s favorite things are added to live action footage of a park with a slide. After a while, a child′s voice says when you die, you go to heaven and the carefree mood is shattered as the work takes a turn for the unexpected.
