Two draftees into mandatory military service in Jerusalem forge a cautious friendship as they patrol the streets. Smadar and Mirit are 18-year-old women with wildly differing perspectives on their service. Smadar, vivacious, flip, and independent, wants to be done with all the same crap as quickly as possible. Mirit, introverted, serious, and living at home, is proud to be called upon to serve. An unfortunate judgement by Mirit brings Smadar′s scorn down on her, but one day, the two are caught up in a terrorist attack and its aftermath.
