Be With Me is a tapestry of three stories woven around the themes of love, hope and destiny. In Meant to Be, an ageing shopkeeper grapples with loneliness, until one day, he chances upon an autobiography which changes his life. Finding Love follows the mundane life of a middle-aged security guard with two loves: food, which he freely indulges in, and a high-flying professional whom he can only admire from afar. So in Love is the bittersweet chronicles of two teenagers in love, whose life blueprints get rewritten by a chain of events. The protagonists in this movie are fictitious bar one -Theresa Chan, a courageous deaf and blind woman whose life story inspired this film. His previous film, Be with Me was shown at the opening night of Director’s Fortnight on Cannes Film Festival 2005.

Eric KHOO
Writer, director and producer Eric Khoo was born in Singapore and studied cinematography at the City Art Institute in Sydney. He began his career making short films, and has also worked in television, music videos, and advertising. His filmography includes [Mee Pok Man] (1996), [12 Storeys] (1997), [Be with Me] (2005), and [My Magic] (2008).
