ACFM will take place over four days from September 20 (Sat) to 23 (Tue) during the Busan International Film Festival at Exhibition Center 2, BEXCO. ACFM has established itself as Asia’s premier content market, spanning not only film and audiovisual content but also original IPs such as books, webtoons, and web novels. Celebrating its 20th edition this year, ACFM continues to grow as a global platform for professionals across the international film and content industry.

New ACFM Programs,
Pioneering the Future of the Film Industry
|
This year, the Asian Contents & Film Market (ACFM) unveils a range of new programs that respond to evolving industry dynamics and lead the future of content. These include InnoAsia, which brings together cutting-edge technology and storytelling to open new horizons for Asia content business; The A Report, a comprehensive overview of key content industry trends from the first half of year; building on these insights, and The A Summit, will explore industry collaboration and future directions. Doc Square, a new networking platform for Asian documentary creators, will also launch this year to foster exchange and collaboration.
In addition, the Producer Hub, launched in 2024, expands global partnerships by designating Canada as this year’s Focus Country, opening doors to broader cooperation among producers worldwide. Furthermore, a new initiative, the ACF Co-Production Support Fund has also been established to provide financial support for co-productions with Korea and Asia and is now open for applications.

In 2024, ACFM hosted 1,031 companies from 52 countries, welcomed 2,644 registered participants, and attracted a total of 26,435 visitors, once again affirming its status as Asia’s leading content hub. Notably, the AI Conference drew over 570 attendees per day, underscoring strong industry interest in the convergence of AI and content. Meanwhile, the newly launched Producer Hub, co-hosted by Korea, served as a springboard for revitalizing international co-productions. With its robust lineup of new programs, this year’s market is poised to become a vibrant venue for dynamic exchanges, meaningful business deals, and impactful results among creators, industry professionals, and start-ups alike.
