The Busan International Film Festival (BIFF) has opened badge registration today for its 31st edition. The festival will be held from October 6 (Tue) to October 15 (Thu).

Festival, Cinephile and Press Badge Registration Now Open!

The 31st Busan International Film Festival provides three types of badges to support the participation of industry professionals, students and media. These include: Festival Badges for film · media industry figures and members of film-related institutions; Cinephile Badges for students majoring in film or media-related fields; and Press Badges for journalists affiliated with recognized media outlets.

Festival Badge holders may reserve up to four complimentary tickets per day during the festival period, either online and at the Guest Ticket Desk. In addition to ticketing privileges, badge holders will have access to P&I (Press & Industry) Screenings, the Asian Contents & Film Market venue, the Guest Lounge, and Guest Shuttle Services.

Cinephile Badge holders are likewise eligible to reserve up to four complimentary tickets per day. Furthermore, they can attend in the Master Classes (subject to availability) and have access to the 2026 Asian Contents & Film Market.

Early-bird registration for the Festival will be available from July 6 (Mon) to 31 (Fri) at 15:00 KST. General registration will follow from August 10 (Mon) to September 14 (Mon) at 15:00 KST. For Cinephile Badges, only general registration is available, starting from July 6 (Mon) to September 3 (Thu) at 15:00 KST.
