🎟️ Ticketing Schedule for the 30th BIFF Announced! 🎟️
The long-awaited ticketing schedule for the 30th Busan International Film Festival has finally been revealed. To mark this milestone year, BIFF has prepared its most diverse and dynamic program yet. But before diving into the full festival experience, be sure to check the ticketing schedule first — your gateway to enjoying the festival to the fullest.
🗓️ First things first: Ticketing Schedule!
The screening timetable was released on August 29 (Fri) at 18:00 KST 🎉
Tickets for the Opening and Closing Ceremonies as well as special programs
(Open Cinema, Midnight Passion, Actors’ House, and Community BIFF)
will be available from September 5 (Fri) at 14:00 KST.
All general screenings will open for booking on September 9 (Tues) at 14:00 KST.
⚠️ A quick reminder!
Even if a title is part of Open Cinema or Midnight Passion, screenings held inside general theaters (rather than at the outdoor or midnight-only venues) will follow the general ticketing schedule — opening on September 9 (Tues) at 14:00 KST.
So remember:
September 5 (Fri) Opening/Closing Ceremonies + Special Programs (mainly outdoor and midnight screenings)
September 9 (Tues) All general theater screenings
Keep these two dates in mind and you’ll be set!
♿ A Festival for Everyone
Once again this year, BIFF is committed to ensuring that everyone can fully enjoy the festival
with a range of inclusive initiatives.
Barrier-Free Screenings: 10 films will be presented with audio descriptions and subtitled commentary for audiences with visual or hearing impairments.
Sharing the Joy: Films marked with the symbol ‘♣’ contribute a portion of ticket proceeds to welfare organizations.
On-Site Ticketing: Seniors aged 65 and above, as well as individuals with disabilities, can purchase same-day or next-day tickets directly at the Busan Cinema Center box office during the festival period.
👉 With these efforts, BIFF continues to break down barriers to access and
create a festival where more people can share in the experience of cinema together.
