Ian, an instructor, arrives at a Lisbon school for the visually impaired. His job is teaching the students how to see sounds. He trains them how to pour water and how to manage fear of surroundings. This is a drama of visually impaired people who grow up by learning how to go out to the outside world. Blindness is not a physical matter, but a matter of mind toward the world, and Ian is devoted to his role as a mentor. As a result, his students slowly learn to have a cup of coffee at a cafe and to get out of their familiar zone with the guidance of Ian. And this film goes one step further than being a drama of growing up. Depicting sound and scent in visual form, it provides its audience with a rich sensory experience. (LEE Sang-yong)
