Program Note
An orchestra conductor who presents classical music, a conductor of a university choir of five thousand people, and a cheerleader who can lead fifty thousand soccer fans. Although they work in different fields, they are passionate and devoted to their work. This documentary captures the changing Indonesian society through the three conductors. Andibachtiar Yusuf Siswo
After studying journalism at Padjadjaran University, Andibachtiar Yusuf worked as journalist and as copywriter for multinational advertising agencies before making short movies and documentaries in 2003. He was invited to Berlinale Talent Campus 2005 and his short documentary [Hardline](2005) was selected as an official element for World Cup 2006 in Germany. He also directed the feature documentaries [The Jak](2007) and [The Conductors](2008).
