북적대는 마닐라의 빈민가에 어둠이 내리고, 중년여성이 바쁘게 병원을 향한다. 불법적인 거래를 주고받고 임무를 완수하기 위해 길을 나서지만 도로를 지키는 경찰로 인해 난관에 봉착한다. 브릴얀테 멘도사의 조감독 레이먼드의 첫 단편으로 올해 칸영화제 단편경쟁에 선정됐다.

Raymund GUTIERREZ

필리핀에서 태어난 레이먼드 구티에레즈는 마푸아공대에서 멀티미디어를 전공했다. 한때 광고업계에서 일하다 영화 관련 워크숍에서 영화를 배웠고 이후 브리얀테 멘도사와 함께 작업하고 있다. 연출작으로 <앙굴로>(2014) 등이 있다.
