The Macaluso Sisters is the story of five sisters, Maria, Pinuccia, Lia, Katia, and Antonella. In childhood, they faced a tragic event that shakes their lives, and the film suddenly moves into a middle age setting. Since that day, they have long resented each other for misunderstanding, but gather in one place one day, hearing about someone’s obituary. The Macaluso Sisters knows the cruel fact that time flows regardless of where it takes us.
