Director Kwak Jae-yong’s The Whisper of Memories unfolds the fantasy of a ’memory ank’ that delivers memory over the phone with the imagery that breaks the boundaries between reality and fantasy, acturality and memory. Director Kim Tae-gyun’s I’m O.K. is a sad melodrama about the pitiful love between two people in a desperate situation. The high level of action such as the fighting scene exquisitely goes along with the sorrowful love scene and stimulates one’s sensibilities. In Wuthering Heights, the paths of a mother and a daughter are crossed with a man in an absurd way by one phone number. The relationship between these three is cheerfully and brilliantly portrayed.
