Program Note
“Johan wanted to make one more film. A film about love inspired by the Song of Songs. He could only finish part of it. A montage of conversations with friends and colleagues. On a sunny day in January, he died... This is what he left in the editing room.”- Producer Noshka van der Lely. These few minutes are a dynamically edited sequence in which Johan creates small portraits of friends and people he met during his trips.
