In the summer of the 2024 Paris Olympics, Blandine, who lives in Normandy, visits Paris to watch the swimming competitions and, after a series of twists and turns, ends up staying at her stepsister′s house. This is the feature film debut of director Valentine Cadic, exploring how the Olympic festival impacts individual lives. Blandine sees the bustling city and the Olympic fervor from the perspective of a traveler, an observer, remaining on the periphery. Closer to Monsieur Hulot than Amélie, she is a character who makes us rediscover Paris. Her journey, encompassing both solitude and encounters within the city, holds both unfamiliarity and intimacy. At first she appears to be a vaguely comical oddball, but as she goes through various experiences, her inner strength quietly emerges, and her unique sociability captures attention. Director Cadic presents a special summer adventure through Blandine′s unexpected encounters.
