Based on a true story, The Lost Bus unfolds against the backdrop of the devastating 2018 California wildfires, illustrating the desperate struggle of a school bus driver and a teacher as they fight to rescue twenty-two children. As the wildfire begins to consume the town, Kevin is rushing home to care for his ailing elderly mother and teenage son when he receives a call that a nearby elementary school urgently needs a bus driver to evacuate students to a shelter.
