Program Note

During the spring break, Qizhe returns to his hometown to relax, but finds himself distracted by his mother’s constant lecturing. Eventually his sexual identity is discovered, a secret that keeps him from being an otherwise perfect son. (PARK Sungho)

SONG Zhanfei

Song Zhanfei attained a Bachelor of Fine Arts at Central Academy of Fine Arts in China and received a MA from the London Film School, where he worked on several short films, including Akrobat (2017), Jonas in Three Colours (2018), and Frame (2016) as a cinematographer, editor, and sound designer. He debuted with a short film Waterstone in 2020. The Third Solar Term is his second short film.
