Program Note

On a humid night within the bustling slums of Metropolitan Manila, Inday, a 54-year-old single parent of a special child goes to her unusual work. As the first short film of Raymund who is an assistant director of Brillante Mendoza, it was invited the Cannes short competition 2016.

Raymund GUTIERREZ

Born in Makati, Philippines, Raymund GUTIERREZ is a graduate of the Mapua Institute of Technology, where he studied multimedia arts and sciences. He left a career in advertising to workshop and later mentor with Brilliante Mendoza. His films include Anggulo (2014).
