A thriller between two runaways and the three people who chase them. It’s a human-drama about cruel choice that these runaways are faced with. It interrogates the truth at a moment between life and death, and asks the viewers what to do if we were the protagonists of the movie. A skirmish arises in the country side of Russia, in the middle of a forest. A man is in flight from three men who are trying to kill him. In the process, the man encounters a hunter, a witness to the skirmish who unwillingly joins the flight. From the beginning of the escape, and through the process of running away, the movie finally takes the two men and the viewers to an unexpected ending. Therefore, the title [Live!] encompasses multiple underlying premises, just like our lives. The movie illustrates a strategy for survival of independence for movies in Russia and that of the world; it suggests a method to display emotional and intellectual effects to the max with minimal budget. It couldn’t be more economical with its simple set-up, distinct theme, and effective moviemaking.
