Blue Bayou, the latest project by award-winning writer/director Justin Chon, is the timely story of an American family fighting for their future. Chon plays Antonio LeBlanc, a Korean adoptee raised in a small town in the Louisiana bayou. Antonio is just getting by working as a part-time tattoo artist. He is married to the love of his life, Kathy, who is pregnant with their child, and is the step-dad to their beloved daughter, Jessie. Because he has a felony record, he is struggling to make a better life for his family, but he must confront the ghosts of his past when he discovers that he could be deported from the only country he has ever called home.

Justin Chon served as writer, director, producer, and star of the film Gook, which premiered at the 2017 Sundance Film Festival, and there won the NEXT Audience Award. He also received the "Someone to Watch" award at the Independent Spirit Awards the following year in recognition for his outstanding performance. Chon won the jury award at the 13th Dallas Film Festival for his film Ms. Purple, which was screened in the U.S. drama competition section at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival.
