Program Note
This mystery film by first time director Jo Hae-won was high-praised as a quality melodrama with a solid foundation and an unquestionable delight. [The Tiger Moth] pivots on the serial killings around a mysterious beauty, Min Hwa-jin, played by Jimi Kim. The movie explains that the beauty of this woman not only compels her to become a Femme Fatale, but that it is also the cause of all her misfortune. The character of Min Hwa-jin who leads many men to death out of vengeance toward her brother surely outshines Hollywood stars in her illustration of fatal attraction. (JOO You-shin)
