Goren lives with his wife, doing simple labor. By chance, he learns about the Kilimanjaro, which promises to give “the best moment of one’s life.” Goren’s dull, repetitive existence becomes lively again as he hopes to find the Kilimanjaro. This delightful, yet plaintive, film reflects on the life at old age, moving back and forth between reality and fantasy. (CHO Young-jung)
