Program Note
In order to go out for a walk with his hospitalized sister, Young-kwang, who is blind, makes a map that can be read through touch. His sister closes her eyes and takes an imaginary walk with her brother by feeling the map. The movie effortlessly expresses a journey of the heart through a simplistic yet gay touch, bringing happiness to both the maker and the viewer.

Currently attending the College of Design & Arts (Animation Major) at Hong-ik University, they produce a fascinating variety of experimental animation based media-art works. Their artistic framework is not confined to conventional categorization of genres – e.g. interactive physical media, installation art, illustrated books. For about a year, they worked on visualizing senses and empirical images of Hwang Yeong-kwang, a student of Seoul National School for the Blind. Resting on this work, they present this short film, [Shall We Take a Walk?]
