Traveling across Bangladesh meeting mystics and ascetics, the filmmaker explores the different aspects of popular Islam in Bangladesh, including its different sects. Islam, as a classically formal religion shackled with edicts, could never influence the common people of Bangladesh. But a simplified version emerged - an indigineous form - one that embraced music. Muslims who don`t accept religion as dogmatic or fundamental could practice, winning the hearts of common Muslims of the country. Though the roads to Islam are many, the central truth remains the same.
