During a quarrel, Cheolwoong impulsively lets his fiancée get out of their car and drives off. Upon returning to the scene, he finds her corpse, having fallen victim to a serial killer. The incident ruins Cheolwoong, leaving him totally dejected. The detective in pursuit of the serial killer confronts him at the criminal’s house. Taking his own wife and daughter hostage to defend himself, the criminal dies with the wife. The detective takes care of the criminal’s daughter as if she were his own child. The daughter grows to be a high-school girl and Cheolwoong meets her as a teacher. He feels tempted to take revenge on her, whereas the girl likes him as her favorite teacher. In this story, three characters entangled by sin and punishment head toward a reversal. Will they be able to forgive and reconcile? Sung Dong-il portrays the detective raising the serial killer’s daughter with sincere and loving care, while Kim You-jung’s charm also attracts the eye. (NAM Dong-chul)
