Ismaël EL IRAKI
Ismaël El Iraki studied directing at La Fémis in France, and currently lives between Casablanca and Paris. With a passion for music, he founded a concert recording company in Paris and exhibited a music and video installation for the Venice Architecture Biennale 2014. He made his directorial debut with the short film Carcasse (2007). Harash (2008) won him the FNAC award in National Competition and Special Mention from the Jury at the 2009 Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival. Zanka Contact is his debut feature film, which was presented at the Orizzonti section of the Venice International Film Festival and won Best Actress.
