One day, the power goes out, and an electrician visits his home. The electrician goes from town to town to replace a broken part. Continuing the cinematic tradition of Abbas Kiarostami, Scent of Wind, slowly and quietly, leaves a lasting impression. It features characters who, despite the fact that they must overcome all sorts of daunting obstacles, always reach out to offer help. The disabled protagonist even stops and traces back his steps to help an old man thread a needle. The scenes of people helping each other come together to create an unforgettable scenery. When a bouquet of flowers made for a blind man’s lover is finally delivered, this film becomes a poem. The winner of the New Currents Award at BIFF2015, Hadi Mohaghegh himself plays the protagonist in his fourth film.
