Doctor Sergio Graf becomes a "difficult" patient overnight, and finds himself fighting against an unrelenting health care system. His journey is one of physical deterioration. His wife worries over medical expenses, and his children quarrel while they all take turns caring for him. But despite his growing fear of death, Sergio records his experiences and tries to preserve his dignity as a patient, father, and human being. Although Sergio is facing a grim reality, the film provides plenty of entertainment with its light twists and ironic humor, highlighted by a superb ensemble cast.
