83-year-old Sergio is assigned a secret mission requested by a woman. He is asked to sneak into a nursing home and monitor whether her mother is being abused by employees. Unfamiliar with the environment within a nursing home, Sergio does not seem to adjust well at first. However, as time goes on, he unexpectedly finds himself enjoying time with people there and has mixed feelings. Coming into the nursing home was simply to carry out the mission, but he grew fond of the place and people. The Mole Agent is a feature film based on non-fiction that talks in a humorous way about aging and loneliness, and the moments of friendship shared by the elderly. (KIM Bo-nyun)
