It All Started at the End, focuses on two of Cali Croup’s central figures, Andrés Caicedo and Carlos Mayolo as seen by Luis Ospina, who presents himself as the narrative prologue and epilogue. Along with testimony by the group’s friends, 208 minutes of footage never loses the pull of an epic and intimate story of the group. Ospina, who held a privileged place within the group, is a great master archivist updating the tone of self-assurance expressed through creativity. He uncovers lives filled with cinema, friendship, delirium and the violence of the country that was their destiny.
