In November 2013, Typhoon Haiyan brutally hit the Philippines, displacing millions and killing over 10,000 people, including the four children of Nick and Chai. To prepare against the powerful typhoon, the couple sent their children to their neighbor whose house was stronger than their own dwelling. However, the choice they made on that day ended up being a source of endless regret. Four months after lost their children, this film observes the everyday life of the couple now living with agonising desperation. Due to a sense of guilt and longing for their dead children, the couple survives one day after another in a state of lethargy. All they can do is take part in rescue efforts, help their neighbors, and try to find new diversions. Following the daily routines of the couple, the camera captures the layers of emotion and pain of those who have to live on while suffering from incurable wounds. (KIM Young-woo)
