Program Note
A lonely man wonders what would have happened if he hadn’t turned away a woman who showed up at his door one day. What kind of life would he have led had he offered her a cup of tea? Shahram MOKRI
Born in 1977 in Marand, Iran, Shahram Mokri is a graduate of Cinema from Tehran’s Soureh College. He started making short films since 2000 and he’s also edited eight television dramas, two television series, and more than twenty short and documentary films. His short films brought him national and international recognition and [Ashkan, the Charmed Ring] and Other Stories is his debut feature film.
