The film is ‘an adult growing-up film, by adults, for the adults’. In many ways ? the natural cooperation between actors, gradual transformation of the characters, etc. ? the film is a female version of [Erratum], which is being screened in the Flash Forward section. Professional photographer Viviane feels lost since Frederick ? her brother and main source of inspiration ? ran away after a huge fight. Inspiration is null until one day, she meets Guillaume, a young mechanic who reminds her of her brother. Inspiration is back and Viviane regains her energy. As they draw closer together, she discovers that Guillaume has some secrets. His ‘secret’ is a shocking reversal that becomes the deciding factor making it possible for Viviane to grow. Focusing only on the narrative of the story, though, is not enough to fully appreciate the film. The film is full of beautiful imagery ? sky painted sunset and scenic streets of people walking. These picturesque images and the slow, hesitating movements between the main characters make a lasting impression. Though not full of stimulating excitement, it leaves lingering emotions behind.
