Today, a considerable part of our lives has become globalized, and the regional borders separating youngsters are also disappearing. Director Aditya Assarat captures the daily lives of the young, including his own, and addresses a reality where the meaning of national borders is gradually disappearing. Ananda returns to a small seaside town to be in a movie after having lived abroad. His girlfriend Zoe comes to meet him and though they enjoy their time together they also feel that there is a wall between them. A few months later, Ananda begins a new relationship with May, who works for a film company. This relationship is not that different from his relationship with Zoe. The characters have a hard time staying in one place for long and find it difficult to carry on with love: They are 21st century nomads. Assarat’s cinematic world has a unique camerawork and cinematic rhythm. Just as in his debut film Wonderful Town, this cinematic rhythm created by calm and composed camerawork evokes sympathetic sentiments. (KIM Ji-seok) .
