Program Note
The nickname of Yeon-shil, the lover of Dong-il, is “black hair.” She’s been suffering since she gave a handle to Manho, one of Dong-il’s staff. When Dong-il discovers this he repells Yeon-shil and puts a big scar on her face. This masterpiece has been remastered digitally to restore lost scenes at the beginning.
