Program Note
It is said that Ha Kil-chong was not inclined to produce a sequel. The film is straightforwardly a cliche film featuring the love between a painter and a prostitute, but, he bluntly quotes many styles such as [Blow Up] by Antonioni almost as if he was ridiculing the work itself. This film is an interesting piece which allows the audience to understand the world of Ha Kil-chong.
