Men, nature and wildlife come together as one to create this noble work. Director Seri Aprymov features a legend-like story of a fight between a hunter and a wolf in the beautiful scenes of nature that encompass the meadows and mountains. Erken, a twelve-year-old boy, steals a hunter′s horse in an attempt to take revenge on him for seeing his mother. She sends off her little boy to the mountains with the hunter to save him from going to prison. Erken learns about wildlife living with the hunter. One day, he comes back to the village to save his mother who is trapped in the snow. There, he is captured by the police and sent to prison for five years. After being released, EIken sets out to find the hunter, but he has already fallen victim to a legendary wolf, Kokjal. With the articles left by the hunter in his arms. Erken realizes that his fate is to become a hunter. The director praises the life of the hunter, who has a rough but warm and big heart. The hunter, himself, has become a legend just like Kokjal.
