Program Note
Six directors made this omnibus film based on human rights issues. The main characters of each episodes are: soon to graduate high school girls who have plastic surgery or enter weight loss centers in order to get employed; a young man with cerebral palsy walking the city streets with a mission; an apartment resident whose identity as a former sexual criminal is revealed to the public; parents who have their kids undergo tongue surgery in order to pronounce the English ′R′, and a foreign worker who was mistaken for a troublemaker because he didn′t know Korean. This is a distinctive omnibus film dissects the vices of Korean society dealing in a sharp and yet often lighthearted style.

YIM Soon-rye
Born in 1961 in Incheon, Yim Soon-Rye received her BA in English at Hanyang University and studied film at the graduate school. She stepped into Korean film industry as an assistant director for Yeo Kyun-Dong′s [Out to the World]. She made her debut [Three friends] in 1996, which won the NETPAC Award at the 1st PIFF.

Yeo Kyun-Dong
Born in 1958, Yeo Kyun-dong started his film career as part of the directing staff of Park, Kwang-soo. His directorial debut was [Out to the World](1994), which described three outsiders and his three subsequent features were [Man](1995) and [Killer Story](1997).

Park Jin-pyo
Born in 1966 in Seoul. Park Jin-pyo is a graduate of the Film Department at Chung Ang University. Since 1991, he has been a very successful documentary producer and director for television. His critically acclaimed feature debut, Too Young to Die, has been invited to many film festivals, including Cannes Film Festival 2002, and has been considered the most controversial film of the year.

Jeong Jae-eun
Born in 1969, Jeong Jae-Eun studied film at Korean National University of Arts. After making many short films, she made her feature debut with [Take Care of My Cat]. Her short works include [Coming of Age Ceremony], [After School], [Yu-jin′ s Secret Codes] and [Girl′s Night-Out]. [Take Care of My Cat](2001) was invited to New Currents of PIFF and earned acclaim of critics.

Park Kwang-Su
Born in 1955 in Sokcho. PARK Kwang-su grew up in Pusan and studies at Seoul National University. He went to study film at the ESEC Film School in Paris and made his debut feature [Chilsu and Mansu] in 1988.His subsequent features [Black Replubic](1990), [Berlin Report](1991), [To the Starry Island](1994) and [A Single Spark](1996) have won numerous prizes at home and abroad.
