Deniz lives in Berlin and works dubbing films. Her dream is to become an actress and not only continually lend her voice to another′s face. She is demanding of herself and others. She has big plans that she longs to fulfill. Her relationship with her boyfriend Jan is quite unsatisfying. It′s a summer morning and Deniz knows that today she must make a serious decision. After work, where she is helping to dub Rohmer′s Conte d′Ete Deniz has arranged to meet Jan. They meet at a cafe and then go for a walk. Deniz breaks up with Jan.
